When Getting Lost is a Good Thing

I cannot go to bed leaving you thinking I am miserable in Scotland.

While I am pretty hard on myself for making mistakes, and did arrive to the Edinburgh airport with butterflies the size of a Highland midge cloud attacking my stomach from the inside, here is how the day progressed:

Took a wonderful nap and then went on an (unintentional) 3-hour hike and saw lots of these:

Read the map while still hiking which resulted in some missed turns and an extra hour and a half walk but also this:

And thanked the Indian Subcontient for their contributions to my day ending with this (wild game curry with Madras chutney):

I now am going to embrace a blissful night of sleep uninterrupted by neither 8-year-old nor Eminem fan.
